Counselling
We provide the full range of counselling and psychotherapy. We operate in a spirit of openness and total confidentiality at the same time. Openness in regard to co-operation with clients on developing treatment plans. Counselling is available to all, male and female, young and old, we may refer on children to a specialist organization or health care provider. All sessions are by appointment only and confidentiality is guaranteed at all times by our professional team.
Resident Counsellor & Psychotherapist
Louise Ward has a BSc (Hons) in counselling any psychotherapy and is also trained in advanced Cognitive Behavioral therapy. and Post traumatic stress disorder. She works in several area's of counselling including crisis intervention, loss and bereavement issues, depression and panic attacks, sexual abuse, loss of direction, low self esteem and low confidence issues. Louise also works with couples using a very different approach designed to bring couples back to a more intimate way of communicating and relating to one another.
Louise is also an experienced trainer and Facilitator in Ireland and Abroad. She has many years experience in counselling. Louise is a director of Zest4kidz, an overseas agency working with vulnerable children all over the world, working with rescued child prostitutes in India, ex child soldiers in Uganda and chlid prisoners in Belerus. She is married with three teenage daughters.

Cognitive Behavior Therapy
We also offer a very well researched form of evidence based therapeutic intervention called CBT (Cognitive Behavioral therapy). CBT has become one of the most widely practiced and most popular therapeutic approaches. Is useful in treating a variety of difficulties including depression, panic attacks, agoraphobia, OCD, health anxiety and general anxiety disorders. CBT is an active form of therapy in which the client and therapist work together as a team. As part of CBT, assignments are often given to the client to implement at home and in the community in order to overcome their difficulties and challenges.

Free Cervical Smear Testing in Association with CervicalCheck - The National Cervical Screening Programme
This National Programme provides free smear tests to women aged 25-60 who are eligible for screening. If you are aged between 25 and 44 you are advised to have a smear every three years and if aged between 45 and 60 you are advised to have a smear every five years.
Cervical Screening is the most effective method of reducing a woman's risk of developing cervical cancer. A smear test is used for cervical screening and is a simple procedure to detect precancerous cells.
From the 1st September 2009, women must be invited to attend for their free smear. In order to receive an invitation you must register online with CervicalCheck.
